The "eyes" have it

We live in a time when some people who love to talk about evolution get nervous if you talk to them about God and their salvation. Why not open the door their way? Here is an example:
Evolutionary textbooks speculate that eyes gradually evolved from dark spots on the skin. They support eye evolution with an example: Fish that live for many generations in dark caves lose their eyesight.
Making fish go blind is the kind of thing that mutations (errors in copying DNA) might cause, but textbooks promoting evolution seem blind to the fact that fish going blind are not examples of eyes being formed, but being lost.
The speculation that eyes evolved from dark spots on the skin is contrary to the evidence: The most perfect eye lenses are found on trilobite fossils, index fossils of the Cambrian period. Fossils from before the Cambrian period were of soft bodied, mostly microscopic life. While fossil trilobite lenses are found by the thousands, the fossil record offers no evidence of lenses, or even of animals on which lenses could have been mounted, prior to the trilobites.
Atheistic evolutionist paleontologist Niles Eldredge of the American Museum of Natural History marvels:
“These lenses … optimize both light collecting and image formation better than any lens ever conceived. We can be justifiably amazed that these trilobites, very early in the history of life on Earth, hit upon the best possible lens design that optical physics has ever been able to formulate". YEAH RIGHT!

Warning to God's People - BEWARE!

There are false Bibles in the country!

They look like Bibles - they are called Bibles, but they are not the true Bible!
The authors of these false bibles have made many subtle changes to the true Bible text by adding words, taking away words and even removing whole verses and passages.
The changes that have been made are important. They insult Christ, obscure his deity, take away from His perfect work of salvation, and introduce confusion amongst Bible-reading churches.
These books are NOT God's Bible - they are corrupt and counterfeit imitations of it. They are the work of the Devil as described in 2 Corinthians 2:17 - "...many...which corrupt the word of God".

These counterfeits contain some of the truths in the Bible but also contain many devious alterations. They are like rat poison - ninety percent good food but it is the ten percent poison that KILLS.

These imitation bibles are not all the same either. Some editions alter certain words and verses while other editions subtract different words and verses.

CHECK THE BOOK YOU ARE USING AS YOUR BIBLE by noting the following four sample verses; if the words in your book are not exactly the same, word for word, as the words printed below then you have one of the Devil's corrupt and counterfeit bibles in your hand.

1. (1 John 5:7) - "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one" .

2. (1 Peter 2:2) - "As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby".

3. (Acts 8:37) - "And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God".

4. (Luke 24:51, 52) - "And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven. And they worshipped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy."

Now did you notice any changes in the words of those verses within your own bible?

If so, then consider the character of the changes and differences.

Do you think that God would want those verses changed and those words omitted?

Satan certainly would! Just look in the first example - the whole verse is removed! And that particular verse is the most definitive statement in the whole Bible of the doctrine of the trinity, i.e. that our God is a Godhead, a three-in-one, just as man is who is made in the image of God , is a three-in-one also - body, soul and spirit. And also throughout creation there is this three-in-one seal, Space is length, breadth and height, Time is past, present, and future, the content of the universe is space, matter and time, Matter is energy, motion and phenomena and so on. And 1 John 5:7 which says "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, and these three are one" is entirely removed!

In the second example, we are taught that the newborn believer grows by reading the Bible, but this is all obscured in the corrupted bibles.

Then the third example, the whole verse (which is one of the clearest statements of how to get saved and what it means to be baptised), is also missing in many of the corrupted bibles!

And in the final example, the fact that Jesus was worshipped by the disciples is removed!

Only God's enemy would want to make such alterations and deletions to God's Holy Scriptures!

And there are literally thousands more of such devilish changes.

Here are some of the standard lies that are circulated amongst the churches to get you to swap God's Holy Bible for one of the many corrupted and counterfeit "bibles" around today.

Lie # 1 - "the language of the Authorised (King James) Bible is old -fashioned and hard to understand" - yet for generations and centuries little children of five years old have been reading, memorising and believing it!

Lie # 2 - "There are better and older manuscripts available since the Authorised Bible was produced" - but they forget to tell you that the manuscripts to which they are referring have been shown over and over again to be examples of the worst corruptions in existence! Those manuscripts even disagree among themselves in over 3000 places in the four gospels alone! Not to mention MISSING OUT WHOLE BOOKS as well as including other books that no church (except Roman Catholicism) has ever believed to be part of God's Holy Scriptures!

Lie # 3 - "As long as your Bible has the fundamentals in it then it is God's word and He will use it" . . . but God says that a "little leaven leaveneth the WHOLE LUMP" . God only uses HIS Holy Scriptures, not Satanic imitations of it. Such counterfeits are cursed of God and He prohibits adding to or subtracting from His Bible.

Lie # 4 - "The Authorised translators have used incorrect and inconsistent methods of translating" .. . then the father of lies promptly goes and uses the same methods in his counterfeits. That is lying and hypocrisy.

Now is all this really important?

Yes, of the utmost importance. Because Satan knows (even if you dont) that an unsaved person can only be saved and born again by the "word of God"!

"Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17), and in 1 Peter 1:23 it says "being born again, not of corruptible seed but of incorruptible, by THE WORD OF GOD" - not devilish imitations of it!

Did you see that?!

And here is something else that Satan is MOST eager that you should not know . . he does not want you to know that there are really only TWO Bibles. All the versions (and there are hundreds of them!) come from either one or the other of these two text types.
One of those types is in fact a muddy, polluted torrent of corruption while the other is the pure stream of the Holy Scriptures of Truth. And every English translation, other than the Authorised Bible, comes from the same corrupt source, and differ only in the degree of their corruption, while the King James Authorised Bible is the only one from the pure source.
So any version you pick up from your local Bookstore that is NOT an Authorised Bible is just one of the variety of corrupted imitations drawn from the polluted well of texts.

Apart from all the technical data that is available on this immensely important matter (contact the NZ Beacon Bookshop for titles) the four samples texts given above should alert you to the solemn fact that Satan has been busy corrupting God's precious words from the very beginning in the Garden of Eden right down to our day.

Watch that Zeal!

Zeal is defined as - “great enthusiam or eagerness” (Cambridge English Dictionary) Zeal about something is good.
The LORD himself is very zealous (as Isaiah 59:17 clearly shows – “ . . . clad with zeal as a cloak”). But zeal can be completely misplaced.In other words, just because someone is keen or zealous about something, that doesn’t make the thing they are zealous about a good thing. For example, the young Muslim university student who strapped some dynamite around her waist a while ago and then blew herself and a bunch of Israelis having coffee in a side-walk café to smithereens, was certainly zealous, but her zeal doesn’t make right the thing that she did. It may have been right for her to do that, and that is another issue, but her zeal itself didn’t make it a right thing for her to have done.Saul of Tarsus (before he became Paul the apostle) was zealous about killing or imprisoning the Lord Jesus’ followers (“concerning zeal, persecuting the church” - Phil. 3:6), but that zeal was misplaced - to say the least! Paul later wrote about Israel’s zeal in rejecting the Nazarene as their Messiah (“..they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge” Romans 10:2). And that zeal was misplaced in the extreme!When the Lord Jesus whipped the money-changers and chucked their tables over (just imagine the scene!) he was certainly zealous, but the important thing was that his zeal was not just present, but it was well-placed zeal (“the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up” – Jn. 2:17).So just because you are really keen on some issue, you need to be sure that the issue is itself true and correct and that your zeal is therefore well-placed.Millions of individuals are very zealous about their particular cause, but their causes are wrong and actually evil. Ante Pavelich, the Roman Catholic head of state in Yugoslavia during the war, was very zealous when he filled a basket with the eyeballs of non-Catholic Serbians who refused to convert to Romanism, and kept it on his desk for a war correspondent to report on (* see additional info in footnote).Nothing is more harmful than zeal for a bad thing.Zeal for a good thing is excellent .Get that, and get it good, and then apply it to yourself and the things that you are zealous about in your life.But how do you KNOW that what you or anybody else is zealous about is a good thing?THAT is, of course, the question!Is there some authority around that I can consult and find out whether my zeal for my particular cause is well-placed or mis-placed? Is there someone or some group or body of people that will tell me that all important answer?Now the Christian says, “Oh, that’s easy, I just go to the BIBLE”.And the Muslim says, “Oh that’s easy, I just go to the Koran”.And Mormon says “Oh that’s easy, I just go the Book of Mormon”.And the atheist and rationalist says “Oh that’s easy, I go by my reason”.And the Roman Catholic says “Oh that’s easy, I just go by my Church and the Pope, he has a direct link to God and he tells me exactly what is a good thing and what is not a good thing.”How do YOU know that what you are zealous about is a good thing? ooOOoo

What the NIV says about itself

The McKinsey File #6 Or The Ghost of Bob Ingersoll

“For two thousand years Christians have alleged that Jesus of Nazareth is God incarnate, the sinless being, the embodiment of perfection. . . yet the New Testament has many statements and acts by Jesus which prove to the contrary. He, like Paul, repeatedly made false statements and inaccurate prophecies” , and the proof of this is, inter alia, John 7:8 – 10, according to Dennis McKinsey, the retired school-teacher from the U.S.A. To our poor benighted 'Dennis the Menace' the proof that Jesus cannot be God incarnate is that when he said in John 7:8 “I go not up yet unto the feast...”, he then “broke his promise by going up secretly after saying he wouldn’t”. And with such crushing 'logic' McKinsey hopes to destroy the Christian’s faith in his Saviour and God, the Lord Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and in the Holy Scriptures He has given to his people. It is almost quite depressing reading McKinsey’s work, when you think of not only the blindness of the poor old fellow (nearly seventy) as he approaches eternity, but also of the effect that his apparently well-informed and impartial treatment of his subject-matter has upon a Bible-illiterate audience. Even a cursory reading of the text in question reveals that The Ghost has difficulty with actually reading the words on the page in front of him. There is a plain time element in the passage which McKinsey has either purposefully ignored or shamefully missed. The passage says “Go ye (his brethren) up unto this feast: I go not up yet: for my time is not yet full come.” - didn’t you see that Dennis old boy?? ..” I go not up YET, YET! “. Got it Denny? He wasn’t saying he would never be going up, just that his brethren should go up first and then he would be going up himself later. What could be plainer? But in fairness to the poor old soul, when you read the RSV (as he has done as well) it loses this time element so plainly set forth in the Authorised Holy Scriptures - the NIV's corrupted RC text says “Go to the festival yourselves. I am not going to this festival, for my time is not yet come” - the word “yet” is removed in the NIV ! But of course Dennis McKinsey is not aware of the solemn truth that his god, the god of this world, “hath BLINDED THE MINDS of them that believe not ..” (2 Cor. 4:4), and that is the reason why he misses such information, information that is laid out in the very text itself, right in front of his eyes and the eyes of every ten year-old Sunday School student. But Dennis doesn’t WANT to believe that heaven and hell are real, and he doesn’t want to believe that the Jewish carpenter was “God . . manifest in the flesh” (1 Tim. 3:16), and therefore the solemn pronouncement concerning such a person as The Ghost is - “he that believeth not is condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God “ (Jn 3:18).

The Roman Catholic Religion is a counterfeit Christianity

Roman Catholicism dupes its followers and a large portion of the world (including the West) into thinking that IT is the church which the Lord Jesus Christ founded upon himself. It has, like a counterfeit bank note, likenesses so clever that only careful study will reveal that it is without true authority from heaven, and is in fact a religio-politico organization using Christianity as a disguise under which it operates to bring in a one-world-order over which it shall briefly preside.The Holy Scriptures teach that the religion of Roman Catholicism is the prophesied antichrist organization used by the Adversary, Satan, the Devil, to deceive millions of human beings. Three “Christian” Farmers Get the Bullet

According to Reuters report of 5.20am Thursday September 21, 2006, the Pope asked for clemency for three Indonesian farmers found guilty of leading a mob that killed some Muslims in Central Sulawesi. Back in 2001 the men were sentenced to death by the Indonesian authorities for being responsible for the deaths of around 200 Muslim men and women, 70 of which were in a boarding school. Now any person who has studied the history of the Roman Catholic church knows very well that Popes don’t ask for clemency for true Christian Bible-believers, they KILL them. Far from seeking their deliverance, successive popes have ensured the destruction of such. Now it doesn’t take a Ph.D to guess the religion of these three condemned men. While called “Christians” by the media, they were no doubt ROMAN CATHOLIC, and hence the call by the pope for their deliverance.Some historical reports give the number of those murdered and slaughtered by the papacy as nearly seventy MILLION.
Far from wanting “clemency” for such dear believers in Chirst Jesus the Lord, the popes considered it their duty to kill them! .

Instead of years, no, decades, no, CENTURIES, no, MILLENIA! to be spent writhing in horrible pain for all those venial sins that you never got sorted out at confessional, Mass (or any other credit system offered by the church) before you died. No wonder we are so pleased to announce it to all you dear RC folk!How do we know, you ask?? Why dear friend, we just read it in the BIBLE!! It says plainly that there is only Heaven or Hell! The only Purgatory (place of purging) in the Bible is the Cross of Calvary, and that is not for you or your priest, it was where the wonderful Saviour Himself "PURGED OUR SINS"! (Heb. 1:3) . When we die we either go straight to Hell or straight to Heaven depending only on whether we had accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. NZ Protestant League (NZPL) is at it again documenting some events in NZ and overseas involving Jim Bolger and Jim Andersons’ fellow church members. “Roman Catholic . . . DON’T read this, it might destroy your faith in your church!!” is the title of a small gospel leaflet produced by the League and currently being circulated in Auckland city and elsewhere.
The last publication distributed by the League got right up the noses of the Press and also the RC bishop of Auckland who subsequently agreed to an interview with the NZPL concerning the information put before the public regarding the protracted deviant immoral activity of the church’s priests around the world.
Now the League is at it again.
The NZ Beacon has obtained permission from the NZPL editor to reproduce extracts from the leaflet for those NZ Beacon readers down-country and elsewhere who may be interested in and benefit from the information ; -

*Catholic Postal Staff Caught Tampering With Protestant Mail - Roman Catholic staff regularly tampered with even REGISTERED mail of a Protestant organisation.

*Catholic Postmaster Fails in Frame-up of Protestants - A North Island postmaster, supported by a RC newspaper and local Catholics, sort to discredit a NZ Protestant group and implicate it in illegal activity. A Post Office Inspector from Investigations Office called for the RC newspaper’s apology when the facts were known.

*NZ Protestant Pushed in front of a Bus by Irate Catholic… An Auckland Christian was twice pushed in front of oncoming traffic because he spoke against the Catholic institution.

*Roman Catholic Landlord Discriminates against Protestant Tenant… Although possessing a signed and receipted Tenancy agreement to rent a Taranaki Roman Catholic’s property, a young Protestant couple, with infant, was subsequently ordered not to move in. The landlord had learned after signing the rental agreement, and taking four weeks rent in advance, that the young married couple were Protestants.

*Major Catholic Real Estate firm discriminates against Protestant…Every applicant for a position with a Roman Catholic Auckland-wide real estate firm was required to give his religion to the Director. A highly qualified Protestant applicant was advised that his application had failed and that no position was available in any of their offices in the forseeable future.

*Roman Catholic Jesuit Becomes Christian and Blows the Whistle on Monastery Morals! - After a huge campaign by Rome to discredit a recently converted Jesuit priest, his credentials now have been confirmed as true. A warning to God's People About the Mass

The Roman Catholic MASS is NOT the “Lord’s Supper” of the New Testament.
It is made to SOUND like it . . . the words are chosen to make the unwary Christian think that there ‘really isn’t much difference’ between the Church of England Holy Communion, which is not ‘really much different’ from the Presbyterian, which ‘isn’t really much different’ from the simpler Baptist Supper, which ‘isn’t really much different’ from the less formal Pentecostal and Open Brethren ‘Breaking of the Bread’.
But there is a difference SO VAST that the only similarity is the biblical sounding words.
NOTE THIS CAREFULLY . . . . the Roman Catholic “Lord’s Supper”, i.e. the Mass, is a SACRIFICE. Did you get that? It is a SACRIFICE!
Jesus Christ, the Lord from heaven, is RE-CRUCIFIED FOR SIN every time the RC Mass is conducted in any chapel anywhere!
This is in complete and flagrant denial of the Word of God, which specifically states that Christ made “ONE sacrifice for sins FOREVER”, and by “ONE offering he hath perfected FOREVER them that are sanctified” and “Christ was ONCE offered”, and yet again, “this he did ONCE when he offered up himself,” and yet again, in words of unparalleled clarity - “nor yet that he should offer himself OFTEN . . .but now ONCE (ONCE! ONCE!! ONCE!!) in the end of the world hath he appeared to PUT AWAY sin by the sacrifice of himself” (Heb. 7:27, 9:12, 25, 26, 28, 10:10, 12 and 14)!
The Smitten Rock
As any young Christian knows, Moses was first told to SMITE the Rock (Exod. 17:6) then in Numbers 20 he was told to SPEAK to the Rock. Now this
Rock was Christ (1 Cor. 10:4). Moses struck the Rock a second time and therefore was prohibited from entering the Land. Now while this punishment seems severe, it is only so because of the horrifying implications of Moses’ disobedience. It was (in type) crucifying AFRESH the Son of God. Only ONCE was the Rock to be smitten. . .from then onwards the blessed Son is NEVER to suffer again. He is exalted to the Father’s right hand. THE ROMAN CATHOLIC MASS IS THUS A SUPREME BLASPHEMY. . . no child of God should be found within a mile of it!
It is a sacrifice to the DEVIL. . . .it is NOT the simple “Lord’s table” of the “Lord’s supper” (1 Cor. 10:14 – 22, 11:20 – 27).
The one is a “continuing sacrifice for the living and the dead” (see Vatican II documents 1981, and Pius IV Creed) . . . the other is a memorial supper to “shew forth” and proclaim the “Lord’s death”.
Every Anglican, Presbyterian and any other “protestant” who is a true Christian MUST NOT unite with, or countenance in any way, this anti-christian system of Rome.

What RC Bishop Pat Dunn REALLY believes will happen to Sir Paul Reeves

Sir Paul Reeves is an Anglican and consequently believes what the 39 Articles of his denomination state. His church’s Articles do not teach that the Roman pope is the head of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, but that the Lord Jesus Himself is the Head, and thus Sir Paul does not believe that he must submit to a Roman pontiff in order to get to heaven. But notwithstanding Bishop Pat’s smiley face, don’t be fooled Sir Paul!The following quote from official Roman Catholic literature is what Pat REALLY believes about you and where you will go when you die. Pope Boniface VIII made the following authoritative statement which greatly affects Anglican Paul Reeves’ eternal well-being, and the welfare of every other Christian who, like Sir Paul, does not believe they need to submit themselves to Joe Ratzinger, or any other pope, in order to get to heaven: - "Furthermore we declare, say, define, and proclaim to every human creature that they by necessity for salvation are entirely subject to the Roman Pontiff.""EVERY HUMAN CREATURE" ! That means poor Paul (along with every other proddy-dog, every Muslim, every Buddhist, and every other non-RC on the face of the earth) , is in a heap of trouble! "BY NECESSITY FOR SALVATION" !! That is serious stuff!And that is what Smiley Bachelor Pat REALLY believes, and I bet you that he hasn’t even bothered to warn poor old Sir Paul about it!

Ian and Mary Grant...the latest

The last time the Beacon took notice of Ian Grant was twenty years ago when we documented the fact that he was not only a Roman Catholic sympathiser but was sucked in by Silly Billy Subritzky’s ‘miracles’ and ‘healings’ meetings where his god dropped ‘bombs’, let people smell his god’s holy ghost and had his devotees grunting like pigs and wriggling like snakes. Now the latest we hear of the deluded soul is that he is going to be spending a gift of 6.3 million dollars (from some poor old fellow down south with as little discernment as Ian Grant himself) on providing a ‘Drop-in Centre’ for parents who cant or wont read what the Bible says about rearing children. They are to call in on Ian and Mary to learn how to get their children to eat their tucker off red plates when they are good , along with many other equally important ‘hot tips’ on rearing their off-spring.
The lights went out for Ian when he let some priest from Rome lay his hands on him so that he could speak in his ‘prayer language’ that is, in reality, a devil-inspired nonsensical and vain babbling condemned in the Holy Scriptures. Of course Ian and Mary (favourite Roman Catholic name for girls) would not be getting the ‘good press’ they enjoy if they were not supportive of Roman Catholicism, but with his track record in lack of spiritual understanding we know that he wouldn’t have a clue how he has been, and is being, used by the enemy of God’s people to further the end-time apostasy of Christendom. Poor wretch. Not only does he have to give account of the effect his sloppy and foolish ministry has had on thousands of young believers over the last two decades or more, but now has to justify the use of millions of dollars on equally foolish ventures into real estate .Extract from NZB article March 1985; - “God is in the bombing business according to TV personality Ian Grant. Up at Bill Subritzky’s Kerikeri farm, the young men and women attendees at Ian Grant’s Xmas “Summer Harvest” outreach, were reduced to ‘wriggling like snakes’, ‘grunting like pigs’ and howling and weeping in fear, as the ‘wind of the Holy Spirit’ descended in ‘another Pentecost’. Some of the favoured also ‘smelt the Holy Ghost’ according to host Subritzky, while there was wholesale casting out of ‘demons’. Along with the frightened teenagers Mr Grant testified that ‘it scared the living daylights’ out of him. Speaker Bill Subritzky was closing the meeting under the eye of the video camera when God apparently let off this ‘bomb’.

Certainty of the Words of Truth

And the book that Dennis Spackman will hand you is the Authorised Bible of 1611. Nothing more and nothing less. Our New Governor-General...Friend or Foe?

NZ Catholic, the RC fortnightly newspaper, has done a front page article about their co-religionist, Fijian-Indian, Anand Satyanand, D.C.N.Z.M P.C.N.Z.M, who , according to their article “will become New Zealand’s, first Catholic Governor-General when he takes over from Dame Sylvia Cartwright in August . . . born and raised in Auckland (he) attended Sacred Heart College in Glen Innes . . .”, (No. 238, S3) . The Government House Public Affairs Officer, Stefan Wolf, recently confirmed (29.9.2006) that the Governor-General is indeed both a Roman Catholic and also a practising member of that religion.NZ’s 19th Governor-General, Anand Satyanand (GGAS), is the personal representative of our country’s Head of State, Queen Elizabeth II of New Zealand, and by convention, our Head of State and her representative, is supposed to be non-partisan, one of the distinctive features of our type of democracy (constitutional monarchy). But the recent appointment of this Roman Catholic lawyer, former judge and ombudsman, to the position of Governor-General, creates an impossible situation for our country.As a Roman Catholic, GGAS is bound to believe a number of things that must impact negatively upon the well-being and freedom of the NZ people.According to the official teaching of the religion of which GGAS is a member, he is bound to believe; -YOU, the individual Kiwi, do not have the freedom to choose your own religion.1 -The RC religion should be the only religion of New Zealand.2-Kings, Queens, Princes, Presidents, Governor-Generals, rulers and Ministers are SUBORDINATE to, and SUBJECT TO, the Pope in Rome.3 -When there is any disagreement between NZ’s civil Law and the laws of GGAS’s church, then the Roman Catholic Church Law MUST ALWAYS PREVAIL.4-GGAS’s religion also states that his church is allowed to USE FORCE (directly or indirectly) to obtain its ends.5 These are FACTS that are drawn directly from the R.C. church’s own official literature! GGAS (and every other R.C. politician, e.g. Jim Anderton, Peter Dunn, et al) is required to give his FIRST ALLEGIANCE to a foreign power (the Vatican State) and NOT to our Head of State and the NZ nation. This is because the Pope of Rome is not just the spiritual head of the RC church but is also the POLITICAL head of a FOREIGN STATE. That is why the Pope is received as a Head of State on his visits to other countries. Every pope, including Joseph Ratzinger the present one, has these TWO offices. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SEPARATE THEM. The papacy calls these the “two swords”, Temporal Power and Spiritual Power.6,7Therefore, GGAS’s position involves an impossible compromise.The two foremost RC authorites in NZ, Archbishop Emeritus of Wellington, Cardinal Thomas S. Williams ONZ DD, and the previous Papal Nuncio (Vatican Ambassador in NZ) Archbishop Thomas White, have confirmed that every individual Roman Catholic in the 280 Catholic parishes in NZ, INCLUDING our Governor-General, must give their first loyalty to the Pope in Rome. The papal nuncio told the NZ Beacon Editor that the Decrees and Canon Laws of the RC church are “irreformable doctrine” and apply today even though some of these laws are hundreds of years old.For example, even though the Council of Trent was in 1546, a recent pope stated just in 1963 that the Council was to be “entirely accepted”. 8It is because of these very reasons of impossibly-conflicting loyalties that British Laws, in the Bill of Rights and Acts of Settlement, PROHIBIT any Roman Catholic taking the English throne. (In fact, each ascending Monarch (including the present Queen HM Elizabeth II) is required to take an oath to protect the Protestant religion and also make a solemn declaration and profession of the Protestant religion.10As a practising Roman Catholic, Governor-General Anand Satyanand, D.C.N.Z.M, P.C.N.Z.M, believes all the above points (1–10) Our New Governor-GeneralFriend or Foe?...and is thus bound to submit to a power foreign to our nation whenever any difference of opinion, purpose or ideology occurs, and not only so but by profession of his innermost being is opposed to the very form of democratic government our country has chosen and which it operates by the will of the nation.Let Governor-General Anand Satyanand give a formal and public oath and undertaking to the people of New Zealand that he will make his first allegiance to this nation and not to the foreign state of the Vatican or else please step down immediately from his position. Cannibal Jim

James Patrick Anderton, deputy Prime Minister of New Zealand, eats man’s flesh in ancient and bizarre religious ceremony.
Jim Anderton is the leader of a minor NZ political party (the Alliance) which, in coalition with the major Labour Party, has become the present government of the country, and thus placed Jimmy-boy in the second highest politicians’ job.
What’s wrong with that, you ask? Absolutely nothing, we reply. Our democracy votes in who it likes and pays the consequences for the next three years.
What Kiwi doesnt know that and who generally cares?
But our Jim is different.
In his private life he is a member of a religious organisation (which forms 13.88% of our population) which, amongst other strange beliefs, claims to change a wafer of wheat meal or some such thing, into actual FLESH, and some wine into actual BLOOD. And the priests of this strange group, and its devotees, then partake of the fare.
And Jimmy-boy Anderton has been doing this since he was a ‘wee fella’.
You dont believe it?
Well friend, it is true whether you believe it or not.
“But it is just SYMBOLIC”, you protest, “they dont REALLY eat flesh and drink blood, they are just performing a ceremony that is symbolic and just represents flesh and blood”.
No, friend, you are WRONG. Jim firmly believes this, and so does his bishop.
Jim’s church says it actually turns the little wafer into man’s flesh for him to eat. He believes it, and he eats it. And people criticise the tangata whenua (NZ natives) for being cannibals in the past! Jimmy Anderton, our erstwhile deputy Prime Minister, is doing it today, and his church admits it.
What a scandal! Now we know that it is not ILLEGAL for cannibal Jim to eat man’s flesh or even drink blood (check with the Police or your solicitor to confirm this) but dont you think it is a little grotesque for our leaders to be involved in such a bizarre activity? And without shame either. No wonder free-thinking men and women are revolted by such a business.

The Roman Catholic Religion is a counterfeit Christianity

It has, like a counterfeit bank note, likenesses so clever that only careful study will reveal that it is without true authority from heaven, and is in fact a religio-politico organization using Christianity as a disguise under which it operates to bring in a one-world-order over which it shall briefly preside.The Holy Scriptures teaches that the religion of Roman Catholicism is the prophesied antichrist organization used by the Adversary, Satan, the Devil, to deceive millions of human beings. It will, in the latter days, itself be destroyed just prior to the return of the Lord Jesus Christ to the earth.Roman Catholicism has its own pseudo "Bible", it has its own pseudo Lord’s Supper, it has its own pseudo "way of salvation" , its own pseudo priesthood, its own pseudo ‘Christians" and its own pseudo Holy Father.The system has misappropriated Bible names and doctrines for its own use, to construct a gross imitation of the true church on earth, the real Body of Christ.A thousand articles like this have been written over the years and hundreds if not thousands of books too, that shout out a warning to true Christian people who have been and are being fooled into thinking that because this system uses biblical phrases and talks of biblical doctrines, then it is legitimate. A Tribute to Steve Bolton

Some years back we ran an article in the NZ Beacon giving Steve Bolton’s testimony. It was taken from a tract he had written himself which told of his start as a Roman Catholic altar boy in the UK to his being freed from the superstition and bondage of that hell-bound system into the ‘glorious liberty" of being born again by the Spirit of the living God and made into a new creature in Christ Jesus.And that tract of testimony has been around New Zealand over the years as well as being published in the NZ Beacon.Steve Bolton was a man, he was a "chippy", having both carpentry and cabinet-making qualifications in the ‘trade’. And Stevey-boy was a big and tall with it.He got saved when he was about forty and kept going for the next twenty two years until the Lord took him to Himself.Since his salvation brother Steve tirelessly witnessed for the Lord Jesus at work as well as each week on Friday nights downtown in Queen Street, Aucklands main street and New Zealand’s biggest city.He rarely missed a street-preaching session over the years, and has been responsible for the passing out of tens of thousands of Gospel tracts as well as preaching.He graduated from the NZ Protestant Bible School and taught in a local church in Auckland.Stevey-boy was what we call a trench-warfare Authorised Bible man, not a sissy cream-puff men-pleaser, and was frequently involved in ‘missions’ into enemy territory with posters and leaflets warning about the works of his old master, Roman Catholicism.Now he has ‘gone Home".The cancer took old Stevey to his Maker, his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, whom he loved and served.Good on you Stevey-boy, we miss you "heaps"!Rest now and we’ll see you soon.

Part One . . ."Autographs" are the author’s writings in his own hand (‘auto’ – self, and ‘graph’ – write), so the autograph of the epistle to the Romans, for example, would be the actual original words of the Apostle, written, in whatever language he used, on the actual original piece(s) of paper (or leather or whatever) by Paul himself (or by his ‘secretary’ at Paul’s dictation).That is, the autographs are the only time and place when the original words and the original sheet(s) were together.That, and that alone, is what is meant by referring to the autograph of any writing.The words on the paper are often referred to as the "text", or in the case of the autographs they are called the "original text" or the "autographic text".After the autographs are written on the original pieces of paper, the words of those autographs may then be reproduced in different ways.They may be copied in the same language, or they may be translated into a different language.CopiesNow copies may be good and accurate copies of those originals, reproducing, word by word, exactly what the original text said, or they may be copies containing mistakes, and those mistakes may be intentional or by accident.So when we are looking at a copy of a text we need to know whether it is an accurate copy or an inaccurate one.An accurate copy is of course just as reliable as the autographs, while an inaccurate copy may have only a few words different from the original text or have many different words.TranslationsThe original text may also be translated into a completely different language altogether from the language of the autographic text, e.g. an Aramaic original may be translated into a Greek language translation, or an English language original may be translated into a Maori language translation, and here the original language is often referred to as the "donor" language and the translation language is referred to as the "receptor" language.This is a quite different scenario to the copying of the original text.Opinion as to correctness of the translation, or its simplicity or difficulty, its awkwardness or suitableness for young or old readers, whether it is a literal translation or whether it has a "dynamic equivalence" etc etc, is a huge issue and widely debated. Some argue that a translation could never be authoritative, because it is, after all, only a translation. However if God wished to translate then it surely would be perfect and authoritative. And indeed, God HAS translated, many times, and the translation is of equal authority as the original. For example in Mark 15:34 we read "Eloi, eloi, lama sabachthani", which being interpreted (i.e. translated) is, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"So not only God can, but has, produced perfect translation.NOT the originalsA copy then, is either without error or is flawed, while a translation is not as easy to decide its condition.But while copies of autographs may be good copies, exact and correct in every word, and while translations may also be either good, bad or indifferent, neither copies nor translations are the "autographs" , even though an accurate copy and a God-given translation are of equal value and authority as the original.Autographs then are different in kind to copies and translations, but may not be different in authority, availability, and usefulness.What about the Autographs of the BIBLE?The autographs of any of the Bible books do not appear to be in existence today, Old Testament or New Testament.And even if one of those ancient scrolls or books or pieces of paper were discovered now in the 21st century it is unlikely that they would have written on them - "This is the autograph of the Epistle to the Romans", or "This is the original of Genesis", and if they did, would we believe it or would we think it a hoax or pseudo writing? And how could we know?No one anywhere on the earth claims to have the original writing of any of the 66 books of the Holy Scriptures. That is a fact.And this FACT is of supreme importance when discussing or studying the "Bible Issue".We simply do not have the originals of any of the Bible books, the closest we have is copies or translations.And this raises many important questions as to the autographic texts and their present form and availability for the Bible-believer today, and that will be the subject of the next article on this vital issue."Thy word is very pure"

Do You REALLY Know What the Bible Is?

What, exactly, is your Bible?
On what, exactly, are you placing your hope of eternal life and forgiveness of sins? Ask yourself these questions and make yourself give you a clear answer!!
The following article contains thoughts that have helped others in the past to grasp the seriousness of this issue, and get their thinking sorted out.
You are currently in one of two positions, whether you realise it or not ;-

1. you have a book (or books) that you call your "Bible", but you don’t actually believe every word in it (them), or,

2. you have a book that you call your Bible and you do really and truly and completely believe every word in that book.

The authority for the Christian church is the Bible.The Christian believes what he believes because the Bible says so.
E.g. 1 - "the Creator visited the earth in a man’s body, as a Jewish carpenter". How bizarre, yet the Christian believes it because his Bible says so.
E.g. 2 - "that carpenter walked on water and made the waves and winds to calm down". A big call, but again, the Christian believes it because the Bible says it happened.
E.g. 3 - "that same carpenter raised dead bodies and gave sight back to blind people etc " - and once again, the Christian believes such startling and amazing things just because the Bible says they happened.
Eg. 4 - "that carpenter was born of a virgin", - something which, at the most, only TWO witnesses on the face of the earth could even claim to have knowledge of, yet the Christian believes such an astounding and unnatural event simply because his "Bible" says it is true!

Now if the Bible is a divine revelation in writing, then it is the most rational thing to do to believe such hard-to-believe, hard-to-prove things as those four examples given above, as well as believe the hundreds of other equally hard-to-believe things the Bible talks about.
If the Bible is really God’s written revelation then of course you would believe it, and study it, and base your actions on it, to the best of your ability.

But what, exactly, is "the Bible"?!

There are hundreds of different versions of the Christian Bible available, with different but similar titles, all claiming that they are the "Bible" or the "Holy Scriptures" or the "Word of God", but, the wording is different in each one.
When I ask the readers/owners of one of those versions this question - "Is that book you have there REALLY the Bible?" they tell me that it is only a TRANSLATION of "the Bible".
When I ask them, "OK then, can I get the REAL Bible, the one that your one is translated from?" then the conversation goes something like this ; -"Oh, you'll have to go the originals, the Greek New Testament".
"OK then, where can I get that?"
"Well, there are many different ones of those too"!
"OK, so which one is the REAL one?"
"Well, the scholars are still working on getting back to the original Bible".
"So where is the actual ORIGINAL Bible then?"
"The ORIGINAL Bible is lost, but the scholars are working on deciding exactly what it originally said. They are nearly there, and nothing important is affected anyway".
"But , if they dont have the actual original Bible then how will they know what it originally said?"
How will they know whether they are getting closer or whether they are getting further away if they don’t know what the original words were anyway?"
Aren’t they just guessing or hoping?
And if you don’t have the "originals" how do you even know what LANGUAGE the original words were in?
Would the eternal God give us such an important written record of his words and his will and his commandments and his purposes then go and LOSE it?
Does that make sense to you??
Why would he do that?
And, on top of that, then tell us not to ADD anything to his words, and not to take away anything from his words, and tell us to live by every word , when we cant even FIND them all?
Do you really believe he would do that?

A Doctrine of Devils

Charismatic Movement’s "Speaking in Tongues" is a Devilish False Doctrine. The Authorised Bible describes such gibberish as "profane and vain babblings" in 2 Tim. 2:16 and says that such babble will lead to more ungodliness and therefore must be shunned. The following report by Jim Brown of the Agape Press will demonstrate the wisdom of the Holy Scriptures in warning God’s people about such delusions. " Two families have filed a negligence lawsuit against a religious club at a Nashville high school, alleging that their teenage daughters suffered physical and emotional injuries as a result of their involvement in the so-called "VictoryClub." Parents of two female students at Hillsboro High School have filed a negligence suit against the school and the "Victory Club," a group sponsored by the Bethel World Outreach Center. The two Nashville families involved in the suit are accusing the Victory Club and Bethel of brainwashing their teenaged daughters with bizarre, cult-like teachings. The plaintiffs' attorney, David Lyons, says one of the girls attempted suicide after Bethel and Victory Club leaders pressured her into speaking in tongues and told her to stop taking her medication. "She felt intimidated by it," he says, "and so she said she started to speak in a language that was just gibberish." At this, Lyons says the club leaders reportedly "all fell back and said, 'Praise God! You've been touched by the Holy Spirit. You're speaking in tongues.'" He says the girl, however, maintains that she made up what she said and that "she was just speaking gibberish to get them away from her." Also, the counsel for the plaintiffs notes, Victory Club and Bethel leaders told one of the teens she had to fast for several days in order to strengthen her walk with God. But the lawyer contends this led to the girl's falling "out of touch with reality," and her behavior became increasingly alarming. "She wasn't eating, she wasn't sleeping, and she was talking in tongues 24-7," Lyons notes. "During class she would get up and begin to speak in tongues" and would "preach and quote scripture all day long." And, in addition to her other erratic behavior, the girl would not bathe. "Her mother had to watch her 24 hours a day," the attorney says, "to ensure that she would take care of her personal hygiene and wouldn't harm herself." The teen eventually had to be hospitalized for severe dehydration and malnourishment. After being admitted to the hospital's psychiatric unit, she was diagnosed as suffering from "religious indoctrination." Bethel spokesman Michael Swain declined to comment on the suit against the church and the Victory Club. Bethel World Outreach Center is a member of the Every Nation family of churches, which is part of "The New Order of the Latter Rain." The "New Order" is a cult movement that covertly believes its leaders are the collective reincarnation of Jesus Christ." New Zealand churches have been afflicted now with the results of accepting such ‘Charismatic’ false doctrine for probably 40-50 years since their leaders have been calling for more "love" and "unity" and acceptance of other denominations. The Roman Catholic system has used the ecumenical movement and the Charismatic movement’s false "healings" and "tongue-speaking" to produce a widespread acceptance of such anti-scriptural behaviour, and the things that have been recorded in the above report will soon happen in New Zealand.. From such things and people we are commanded - "withdraw yourselves" [2 Thess. 3:16]

"A Vapour . . . "

Accountability and Opportunity
"For what is your life?" asks the Scripture in James 4:14, - "it is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away".
The brevity and fragility of our life is a fact so solemn and profound that you would think that we, as Christians, would all at least get the message that this very hour may be our last few moments upon this earth. As we watch the old folk slip predictably away as their tabernacles wax old as doth a garment, and the young, even infants, swept off the scene by tragedy of accident, war or disease, we are reminded indeed daily that this life is brief, as a vapour.
There are therefore two strands of thought that should dominate the thinking of every Bible-believer’s mind - Accountability and Opportunity.
Accountability encapsulates the whole idea of being held responsible for our actions, each and every one of them, and God’s promise that we will not avoid nor escape the just retributions for our every thought, word and deed that we have had and done during our time here on earth.
Opportunity is that whole idea and truth of our chance (a good Biblical word – look in your concordance!) to do things in the current environment of darkness, evil and warfare that characterises this "present evil world", the special opportunity we have to stand and work and fight for an absent Lord in the presence of His enemies.
We will not have this special opportunity once we leave this scene. So, with these two profound thoughts in mind, let us "gird up our minds" and "present our bodies" to our Lord and Saviour in heaven, as we, in this "little while", still live upon the earth in this evil age. ooo
